Meeting Open for Questions from the Public
5 members of the public were present.
Neighbours of the property, being discussed at this meeting, came and expressed their concerns over the proposed planning application. They are worried about the scale of the proposed extension and the loss of light and privacy they feel this will bring. One of the neighbours provided photographs to show how they felt their privacy would be impacted. It was recognized that the applicants had taken onboard previous concerns raised, regarding the above-mentioned objections when submitting a revised application, but the neighbours still felt that a first floor extension was not acceptable.
Planning
- DC/23/1671/HH Householder planning application - a. first floor rear extension. 8 Capel Close, Troston.
Of the six members of Parish Councillors at the meeting four objected to the application on the grounds that they felt the proposed extension was overbearing and they were concerned about the adjacent neighbours potential loss of light and privacy. Two councillors supported the application as, although recognizing the concerns raised by the neighbours, they felt that the extension should be built in a bid to modernize and extend the property.
