Troston Church is commemorating 100 years since the end of World War 1 with a service followed by activities and a display in the village hall.  There will be crafts and dressing up for the children.

The Parish Council were lucky to receive some 'There but not there' silhouettes from the Remembered Charity.  888,246 of the seated 'Tommy' silhouettes have been made to represent every single name of the fallen from the British and Commonwealth, for the First World War.
